Cadillac has pulled the wraps off its 2025 Escalade, revealing a comprehensive update that pushes the boundaries of luxury SUV design and technology. This latest iteration of the iconic vehicle blends cutting-edge features with the timeless elegance that has made the Escalade a symbol of American automotive excellence for over two decades.
Exterior and Interior Upgrades
The 2025 Escalade features a bold new front-end design, drawing inspiration from Cadillac’s CELESTIQ and LYRIQ models. Notable changes include vertical lighting elements and an illuminated front crest. Higher trims offer an illuminated grille surround. The SUV also introduces 24-inch wheels, the largest ever offered on an Escalade.
Inside, the refreshed Escalade mirrors the design of the all-electric ESCALADE IQ. An available Executive Second Row package adds luxury features such as stowable tray tables, personal screens, and massaging seats. New interior colour options include Renaissance Red and a Jet Black and Sheer Gray combination, featuring premium materials and craftsmanship.
Advanced Technology Integration
At the heart of the 2025 Escalade’s technology offerings is a 55-inch curved pillar-to-pillar display. The infotainment system supports voice control, navigation, and smartphone integration. Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology comes standard on all trims.
Audio enthusiasts will appreciate the standard 19-speaker AKG Studio system, with an optional 40-speaker setup available. Additional tech features include available night vision, a full-colour head-up display, and power open-and-close doors on higher trims.
Performance and Driving Dynamics
The 2025 Escalade continues to offer a range of performance options. Available Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 and Air Ride Adaptive Suspension aim to provide a smooth, controlled ride. The high-performance V-Series variant boasts a 6.2L Supercharged V8 engine producing 682 horsepower.
All models come equipped with a suite of standard active safety and driver assistance features, enhancing overall driving confidence and vehicle control.
Pricing and Availability
Production of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade is set to begin in late 2024 at GM’s Arlington Assembly plant in Texas. The SUV will be offered in six trims: Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury Platinum, Sport Platinum, and V-Series. Specific pricing details will be announced closer to the launch date.
John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac, stated, “The Escalade franchise has defined Cadillac for five generations. The expansion of the portfolio to include a refreshed Escalade and the all-new all-electric ESCALADE IQ later this year positions the brand well to offer an Escalade that meets the needs of all customers.”
As Cadillac’s best-selling luxury full-size SUV in North America since 2014, the 2025 Escalade aims to continue its legacy of combining bold American craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology and performance.
